About Natural Cowhide Sheath for Karikomi Shears

This sheath is made from vegetable-tanned cowhide and double-stitched for durability, cut to fit our two-handed Karikomi Shears. Unlike our other sheaths, it has no belt loop, since a shear of this size and reach isn't meant to be carried on your belt; it's designed simply to protect the blade in storage or transit. It's snug at first and gradually eases with use as the leather takes the shape of the shear inside it.

How to Care for Your Cowhide Sheath

Wipe off dirt and moisture after use, and let the sheath air dry naturally if it gets wet, away from direct heat. Vegetable-tanned leather like this darkens and softens with handling over time; that's normal wear, not damage.
