Tobisho Natural Cowhide Sheaths & Leather Cases
Natural cowhide sheaths and leather cases, sized to fit specific Tobisho pruning and hedge shears in our lineup, from the 200mm SR-1, A-Type, and B-Type through to our Topiary, Root Pruning, Pine Needle, Bud, Hisui, Hirei, and Karikomi shears.
A Case Sized to the Shear
These are heavy-duty, hand-stitched cowhide sheaths, each cut to fit the specific geometry of the shear it's made for. They keep the blade off exposed metal while it's on your belt, protecting the edge from knocks and moisture between cuts. For the 200mm A-type at 225mm, Tobisho notes that this sheath fits snugly; if you'd prefer a looser fit, our wider CA-01 (large) sheath also works for that model. With regular use, the leather darkens and takes on the shape of the tool it holds, the way most natural leather does over time.
