About Legacy Spring (Pre-Integration) for Older 180mm/185mm Pruners
This was the spring size used on our 180mm and 185mm pruning shears before Tobisho consolidated its spring lineup. Those models now use the same Size 7 spring shared across most of our bypass and bud shear range, so if your shear was purchased more recently, Size 7 is very likely the correct replacement rather than this legacy size.
This size remains listed for reference and for shears purchased before the change. It is no longer in production.
